Amenity & Community
Photos Policy
We offer amenity photos as a free add-on (they don't count towards the photos you paid for) for your photoshoot to help show what perks come with living there and are included in Condo/HOA fees. We include these for free because we are already on site for them, and because we are able to reuse these photos the next time we photograph the same condo building/subdivision.
We also understand the importance of buyers knowing what is in the local area, especially in such a transient market like the DMV. This is why we include infographics about local parks, shopping/dining, schools, etc. for free whenever possible. This is also why all of our property websites come with a detailed, interactive map making it very easy to explore the surrounding area.
Important notes:
If we do not already have amenity photos for a property, it is likely because we have never been there before. Please provide detailed instructions (ie if we need a fob to access, where to find the fob, etc.) for accessing the amenities to us like you would a buyer who has never been to the property.
Amenities MUST BE UNOCCUPIED for us to photograph them. This is especially true for areas like pools and gyms where people do not want to be unexpectedly photographed.
Some areas (such as Reston, VA or Brambleton, VA) are cities covering several square miles - but everything within them is considered part of the HOA. In these cases, we will need specific requests for which amenities including addresses.
With that being said, here are some examples of what can be considered amenity photos.
Amenity Photos:
Pool
Fitness Center
Laundry
Athletic Court (tennis, basketball,etc.)
Conference and Party Room
Lobby
Community Center (a building that includes amenities listed above - address must be provided)
Metro Stop (within 0.5 mile) (We are including this one exception that is not an amenity because we understand the importance it can play)
Does NOT Qualify as Amenity Photos:
Anything outside of the subdivision
Please note that our order form does allow you to type details for amenity photos, however, anything requested that does not meet our amenity standards will not be included.
